Overview
City Index needed its core trade-execution engine modernised and extended so it could continue to scale with more than a million active accounts. The work covered both the high-throughput backend and the multi-platform client applications that traders use every day.
Challenge
A trade-execution engine that must handle millions of requests per second with complex workflows before, during and after trade execution, while remaining highly available and low-latency.

TechSchweiz optimised and extended the high-value trade execution engine infrastructure. We developed web, mobile and desktop client applications, introduced a microservices-based architecture for scalability, and added Redis caching for in-memory storage.
